The production process is quite straightforward: following a phone call or meeting with you to discuss your requirements we will give you a detailed proposal that includes prices and timings. We will begin work on your site once we have enough information to do so - we appreciate that you may not be able to have all images and text immediately available.

Once a draft of the home page has been prepared we will contact you so that you can view a proof. When you are happy with the design we will continue working on the rest of the site.

When the design is finished, we test the site in different web browsers and platforms ensuring everything works properly and that pages load quickly. You can preview the site again on completion of the work and any final changes you wish to make will be incorporated prior to going live.

redesigns
Some of the projects we have undertaken have been redesigns, where a client's site has remained unaltered for some years and is in need of a new lease of life. We can provide a detailed report of your site, listing what improvements can be made in such areas as layout, image optimisation, navigation, meta tags etc. The makeover can comprise of little more than updated copy and images to as much as a total redesign.

hosting
We can arrange hosting of your site. Web servers in secure data centres, operated by the UKs largest hosting company, provide a fast, reliable service with the flexibility to add further hosting options as your company grows.

domain name registration
Similarly, domain name registration can be arranged for any current name suffix available (eg .co.uk, .com, .org, .biz). Web forwarding can be set up whereby certain domain names you purchase will be automatically redirected to your main website address.

search engine optimisation and marketing
We offer a range of services that get your website seen:

• Submission to major free search engines
• Optimisation of page titles and body copy to contain keywords and phrases
• META tags on all pages (using existing list of keywords and phrases you have)
• Listing of site with various relevant directories
• Setting up of reciprocal links with existing compliant customers
• Advice/consultation on paid for search engine marketing - such as Googles 'pay per click' scheme.

training
At sudden sway we recognise that not all our clients are internet experts and can therefore offer tailor-made training sessions to suit all abilities. We can improve your skills in using e-mail, web browsers and search engines as well as updating your own website.

The training sessions are completely flexible giving you the option to concentrate on those areas of particular interest. We can come to your place of work or home and can cater for small groups or individuals. Sessions are priced at £25 p.h. with discounts given when multiple sessions are booked. The training is carried out by a tutor with teacher training qualifications.
